I posted a thread years ago about a turbo b head 4.6 I was building.

I got to 95 percent finished and stopped working on it.

AFR WAS 11:1.

Here is a datalog at 15 psi. The engine is completed. I had to make changes to the intercooler setup. It's a terrible vertical flow intercooler.
The core is 3.5" thick, and as large as will fit, but the IATs are much higher than the 4" core intercooler I took out.

The old cooler was 10degrees above ambient even after a hard run on a hot day. This one is 25ish above ambient.

The basic conditions.

88 degree day. GPS 103mph. Part throttle because I just flashed the tune and needed to be sure the ignition timing was safe. It was also spinning the 295/50-15 street tires.

It was still at 15 psi when I lifted completely.

The car has 2.73 gas mileage gears from back when I needed gas mileage.
2nd gear stock tune auto.

I can't push it any harder as I'm going to break the tranny.

Im building a house so the glide and rear end build will have to wait.
The BA3000 transfer function aiflow is lowered about 8 percent for AFRs

Forward facing 1 3/4" headers I made. Cams intake retarded 8 degrees, exhaust cams 4 degrees retarded. Everything made by me. Tuned by me. 3" downpipe exiting in front of the driver's tire. 9.4:1 compression ratio. Ported heads with frpp stainless valves

I leaned it out to 11.3:1 and added 2 degrees of timng for 15.5 degrees total timing from 5000-7000

Sweet build, is this in a fox body? I can see how turbo builds can get crazy expensive but it must be a great feeling when you do it all from scratch. Need moar pics!

It's a weight reduced 96gt. Weighed a little less than 3000kbs last time I weighed it
I will post moar as I get decent videos and pics.
