Just wondering what you 4:11 guys are getting MPG.
I been getting consistent 10 MPG, but I do live up a mountain,
and I don't hit the freeway all that often, even then though, it doesn't
improve much. Also any KB/whipple guys what are you getting MPG.
Just was thinking, if I do add a twin screw, can it get worst. Plus I'm bored and tired of reading the same threads.

4.11s + Freeway would equal pootacular MPG... If you go twin screw, I personally ditch the 4.11s and go to like a 3.90 at most, since the extra HP and torque of the TS will make up for the gears somewhat.

With 4.11s and a TS your gears would flash by so fast I think it wouldn't be that much fun.

Ya, I have heard that, thanks for the advice.
It just cracks me up, that many guys on here are
saying they are getting 17 mpg or higher. Don't get me
wrong I belive them, but 3:55 to 4:11 make that much difference.
And I guess thats what I was trying to find out. Just wondering
if I do go twin screw what can I expect 5 mpg. Now that would
be funny as hell.

With the 4.11s your in town milage should be better than the 3.55s.. They will kill you on the freeway, even with the 6th gear. A twin screw reduces the "need" for 4.11s for a DD.

Its just personal preference, but 4.11s on a DD is total overkill.
