4.10 gear installation...where

Where should i go to get my 4.10 gears installed? I'm in the Kitsap area but willing to
travel to as far as Auburn and Seattle if need be. The few places I called all quoted me
$500 + but forum members say its usually around $250-$300..I called performance
shops, is that why its doubled? Should I be calling "Joe Shmoe Mechanic"? Any help is greatly
appreciated, really want to get these bad boys installed.

TMS did mine on my old 3v. they did a fantastic job, and they cut me a deal. they never whined or anything like that.

TMS was the first place I called (bought the car from Kyle, restoration dept.) and they wanted
to charge me $500+, Turbo Technologies $700+, Ford $500+

just thought these numbers were way high considering I see people on other forums say they paid
total $400-$500 after install (purchase of gears, bearing kit, install)

i'll have to call em again, my first quote was for labor, bearing kit, fluid...i just ordered those
from AM, so gotta see what the new price quote would be.
