Has it been done? I sold my coyote to cut debt and prepare for a big reduction in income (joining the military).

I have an old 3V intake manifold laying around from when I had an 06.

Just curious if it's worth porting & polishing, since I may buy a new edge when my wife and I get settled in to our first base. Currently rocking a 2014 dodge RAM lol.

Thanks for any info

You want to use a 3V intake on a 2V new edge?

If thats what your thinking, than no it ain't gonna work. You can do a whole 3V engine in a 96-04 but you need to have some other parts to make it work.

They'll bolt to it, but thats not the only thing you would need.

IMO, the effort involved versus the gain is not worth it. Some TFS 2V heads with the right cams and supporting parts would make better power anyways.

The ports are completely different.

Sent from my GDI turbo Mustang

I know MMR makes Coyote to 5.4 intake adapters, but that doesn't help you. I wonder if they could make the 3v to 2v version.

One thing I have always hated the most about the 2v's is how boring the stock intake manifolds look. Especially with the plenum being perpendicular to everything else. A 3v or coyote intake on a 2v would make everything more appealing.
