Well ladies and gentlemen, June 30th is within sight and the biggest event of the year is looming! Planning is under way and we need to start getting an idea of the number of people that we expect to attend, for various reasons.
To that end, the following is the info for the event (it will be updated as quickly as possible as things get closer):
When: Saturday, 30-Jun-2007 @ 10:00am
Where: Howard County Park and Ride (at MD-216/Rte 29 junction) (CLICK FOR MAP/DIRECTIONS)
What: General format:
- 10:00am-11:00am: Arrival
- 11:00am-12:00pm: Car-show judging
- 12:00pm: Food and drinks (catered by Famous Dave's; Price: $10/person)
- 1:00pm: Car-show results announced, prizes awarded
- 2:00pm: Cruise route information passed out
- 2:30pm: Cruisers begin assembling
- 3:00pm-???: Cruise to ????
If any member can get a hold of a decent loudspeaker system (for announcements, music, etc) for this event, please contact myself or Dwight as soon as possible. Thank you.
