3650 bolts

my 2000 mustang has the tko500 transmission i just took out and putting in the 3650 from a 03 gt
but it seems the top bolts are a different size then the bottom bolts? i say that cause i stick the bolts in and i catch nothing like i need a fatter bolt, but the bottom bolts are in already... can someone help me out?

dude why would you take out a TKO500 and put in a 3650? The TKO500 is a ton stronger than the 3650, you sure its a TKO500? A T45 came stock in them

my tko has been TKO'ed , its stuck in gear i must have welded the syncros together and now i want to sell my car so i was putting a 3650 in just to sell it

From what i remember when i pulled my tranny they were all the same length and size bolts all around. The top ones were a bitch to get in though i had the same problem. I pulled it back out and started with the top ones first and then went down and it was alot easier.
