I have been getting a plan together for the motor going in my 93 Reef blue coupe. The original plan was to run a stock Windsor block deal until it broke down the road. I want to make 600rwhp in street trim and 800rwhp in race trim on E85 with an 88mm turbo. Plan is to be in the low 9's and compete in True Street events. I am nervous about the stock block I have. I found a new A4 block for $1000 shipped. I cant get a gauge if that is a decent price or not. I'd rather be in the $800 range but he sets the price. I wont spend the money on a Dart block right now but I would drop the extra coin on the A4 block. I need to get into a house first. Thoughts?
