This is a powerful, custom-built engine, perfect for your 5.0 Mustang, muscle car, Hot Rod or other custom project. The engine is a 302-based, 2-bolt, late model block bored and stroked to 347 cubic inches. The engine was built for a supercharger, but will work fine naturally aspirated. In fact, with the low compression, this engine would run great on its own with 87 octane gas. However, if you want some insane power, add a Vortech, Paxton or ProCharger supercharger to this motor and make well over 600 horsepower.
This engine was professionally built by Ford Performance Solutions in Anaheim, CA. This is not an over-the-counter crate engine built by some company’s “B-Team.” Everything on this engine received special care and attention during assembly. I have well over $7,000 invested in this motor. Some features include a custom hydraulic flat tappet cam, coated piston skirts, fully ported Avenger heads, a main stud girdle and a fully polished Parker Funnel Web intake – possibly the most powerful SBF intake you can buy. This engine is set up for fuel injection.
