Thank you for the post.

Is it possible to fit tire size 335/35-17 on a 10.5" wide wheel...Yes it is. Is it recommended...No.

The minimum approved rim width for this tire size is 11". A tire is designed to flex in certain areas of the carcuss. If you pinch a tire on a wheel that is to narrow you can run into issues such as excessive heat build up and premature wear. Worst case, tire failure.

It's recommended that you run any tire on a wheel width that has been approved by the manufacturer. Running a tire on a non approved rim width does void the warranty.
