the rears are 335/30/18 michelin pilot sports.

I put BFG's on the front and was wanting to get 315 or 335 BFG's on the back but despite BFG's web page showing they make them nobody has them. Guess I will just get the DR's.

anyone know if a 335/30 17 will fit on an 11 inch rim, i had rears widend 2 inches and 315 nittos are a little stretched, ordered some 335's but they looked way to big to even try, and since nitto sizes are undersized, i was affraid to attempt mounting them. anyone ever tried this??

I am sure the 335 michelins will fit on a 10" rim but a 315 would be a better choice.

As for the 335 nitto on a 17x11" rim those should fit fine.

sorry 335's i ordered were not nittos, forgot brand, but they were like 2 inches wider than nitto 315's, so i was affraid it would rub on inside,
or is there a 335/30/17 any one recomends to try??

I feel that 335 is too much for a 10" wheel. They look best on 11"+, with 10.5" being the minimum. The larger 315s (BFG, Goodyear, etc) are already pushing it on a 10.5" wheel.

I'd run 305 or 295 on an 18x10 wheel. The Nitto 305 DR is a nice option, though pricey. It's not undersized like the 315/35/17.

Depending on the manufacturer and section width, it'll bag a little bit. Probably fit like a 315/35/17 Nitto DR does on the factory 9.5" wheels. Just keep in mind that it gets harder to stuff too wide of a tire on a wheel as you go up in diameter, as the associated sidewall gets thinner.

Why would you want to do a 335 tire on a 10" wheel? They are more suited for something 18x11 and up. I don't think that's such a good idea. Look into running a 315 tire instead. Even then a 315 tire other than Nitto's will bulge on a 10" wheel.

I ran 335's 18's pilot sports on a ssr 10.5 inch rim for a long time and would never do it again.

They really do not fit, you need 11" rims to get them to fit right.

Plus the traction is not all that great with pilots, and they are freak'n expensive
as well.

I eventually went to a 295 BFG KDW2 18's and it hooks up significantly better, can give it way more throttle then I even could on the 335's pilots.

I will say the pilots rocked in the rain and the BFG's are so so. but who cares, dry traction is what its all about.

so it was cool to get all the looks and scratching foreheads when people saw those fat 335's on there, but thats all it was for was looks. so glad I got rid of them.
