The last four digits of the DOT number on the sidewall should be the manufacture date.

I'm not to sure what this code is for.

I can't really make out the last four digits in the picture, but it looks like 1900? If so, Pirelli must assign their DOTs differently than Goodyear and BFG and several others that I'm familiar with.
