315 Mickey Ts look skinny on 10.5s...

I got my MT 315s mounted on 17x10.5 AFS replicas, and there is like a 1/4" lip on the outside of the wheel!!! What the heck? It looks stupid in my opinion...is this expected?

I think mt's run even narrower than nitto's now. They used to be wide like 2008 when my friend had the 315's on his camaro. Soon after that they changed.

I'm glad I'm hearing this now before I buy...they must have changed the size up or something...I can't stand the look of 315 nitto 555rs on the 10.5 rim....

The M/T's don't have th lip protector do they? That will make them look "weird" compared to other tires, and will show more of the lip.

Maybe try a 335 if you have a 1/4 inch left to mask the lip? And I always though nittos did run a shade narrower as well.

Some tires are designed to set out a little over the lip of the wheel, it's to protect against curb rashing your wheel.

mine looked fine IMO. your not gonna find a 17" 315 dr wider than a m/t. if you want a wide tire get some hoosier 335's and be done with it. im running 17" et streets now but plan on picking up another set of m/t dr's soon, i love those tires!

I had the 315 555Rs....and now have the 315 NT05R's....they are much wider than the 555. About as wide as the BFG DR
