315-35-20 tire question

im wondering do 315/35/20 tires fit on 13-14 GTs? im currently running verde wheels v99s 20x10.5, im not sure which ford racing springs im lowered on they were put on from the previous owner i dont know if there K or P springs. my question is would a 315 tire rub?

Wheel width is one thing that helps determine if it'll work or not but ultimately it's the offset which can make or break your question. I used 315/35/20 on my 11" rears, I was very lowered but only rubbed occasionally, not enough for anyone to be upset over it.

More than likely you will rub with the 315 with a 45mm offset. A 305 is typically the widest you can fit with that offset on a 10.5" wheel on lowered cars. If you want a 315, you'd be better with an 11" wheel with a 55 or 56 offset.

I'm running a 20x10 rear wheel +40mm offset on 315/35/20 Nitto NT05R Drag radials sitting at stock height & it fits perfectly ! No rub but I definitely cannot lower the rear of the car
