How crucial is it that I have the transmission flushed at this incriment?

Also, I read in the owners manual that SVT owners, with regular maintanence other than oil change, that they provide you with a loaner car and wash and vacum your vehicle.

It really depends on how you use your Lightning. If you tow with it a lot and race it a lot, it's a good idea to get it serviced. If it's just a cruiser and only see's use on the highway, you could go a little longer. Is your fluid cherry red or a little brownish? It's just good maintenance to have it done whether it needs it or not.

ALL SVT cars get loaner/wash per ford.trans fluid is like oil it gets dirty/breaks-down.you should change it-cheap insurance.
