My current combo is a 306, E cam, Ported GT40s, crane 1.6 rr's, Trick Flow Track Heat intake, 70 mm TB, Cobra Maf, 24lb injectors, CAI, No smog, Mac shorties, x pipe, pro dumps. I have a built rear end and suspension as well. Currently I am running 275 50 15 M/T Drag Radials. I have 3.73s right now, and I know my MPH with my old GT with a little bigger set up and 4.10s ran harder on the track. I am debating going 4.56s. I have a tremec 3650 in there now. 80ish is around 2300. I really don't care what its taching, I want more low end. Is it going to be worth the money to swap the gears, or should I just leave the 3.73s in it now? I havent ran the car with the new setup, but when I ran it before, with the near similar set up, it was running 8.1 at 83-84 mph in the 1/8th.

If your looking for more low end power off the line then go with the 4.56 gears. If your not worried about fuel milage or plan on driving it on the street very much then I would say change them. Also do you have any future plans of adding a blower or a turbo if so then that is going to make a difference it what you may want to do.
Then go with the 4.56 for now and if you decide to go turbo you could put the 3.73 back in or 3.55
if you wanna be at the top of 4th gear in the 8th then 456 will be great!!! i say no more than 410. also how do u have a 3650 behind a 302? i thought they were only able to go on 4.6.
