I have a SRA in my 04 cobra. I had 3.55 for a long time and recently switched to 3.73 gears. The car feels quicker on the launch but seems to not pull as hard on top end. It lost 3 mph at the track but et improved a couple of tenths. I'm still scratching my head on this one. I shift at the same rpm as I did with my 3.55 gears. I even tried shifting at different rpm but no help. I have a 2.3 Whipple making 16 lbs boost (580 rwhp) on 93 pump gas . I do plan on turning up the boost with race fuel but after this I'm wondering if I made a good choice on my rearend gear. The tires I'm using are MT ET streets 26x11.5x17. Has anybody experience similar situation. Thanks.
