What's up guys? I'm doing a little winter project and figured I would post some pics. The car is a 2000 Saleen with a built motor, KB 2.2 and other supporting mods. Over the winter, 03Cobrra and myself are throwing on a set of ported heads and cams. We started about 2 weeks ago but the weather in NY hasnt been the best to be working in a garage, but here are some pics of the progress so far.

Why are you getting the pistons notched? If you are sticking with the mph kb grinds that you said in your thread in the pics section then you wont need notches

What are the specs on your cam? 115@50 with a .550 lift is mine. I called MMR and gave them those specs and they said it would have to be notched.

Mine arent notched. Only spec mr norms told me was that it does have a 115 lsa. Id email them and find out. I just installed mine and ran it around the block a couple times to make sure i installed them correctly before i worked on the blower. I had zero ptv issues

I do know that mph closed and tim went to mr norms. Maybe that has something to do with it. According to the s/n on mine i found out that its a custom grind from comp cams with a 115 lsa, .550/.550" lift, and a 234/234 duration.

My brother in law got them when Tim was at MPH...maybe they changed their numbering of the cams when he went to Mr. Norms. I might call him on Monday and give him both sets of numbers and see if they are the same cams.

Car looks nasty man, I love the redfire saleens.

What power did it make with the setup before heads/cams? Any videos of the car?

I haven't had the car on the dyno since I've had it, but when my brother-in-law had it, I think it made 480ish wheel. These are the only vids I have of the car:

I took this one the day we started to take it apart

And this one, a security guard at my job took
