290 in Worcester

State Police Cruiser and a Mustang involved in some sort of a collision on 290 eastbound in Worcester around 4opm today. There might have been a couple other cars and tractor trailer involved, too. Hood on the cruiser was folded in half, the mustang was turned around the other way. Anybody know what happened? Inquiring minds want to know.

All I know is the traffic was backed up for miles, there was actually a third car involved, and I believe nobody was hurt. ( I go to school with a statey)
