Looking at these for the fronts on my 02 GT. If anyone has run these on the fronts, do they fit w/o rubbing or is there a better size for the 17x9 wheel, like the 255?

275/40/17 on Front?

I run them on my lowered 97 gt and they do rub on sharp turning.
I'm running 275/35/18s and have no rubbing issues. Car is also lowered 2"
I have yokohama 255/45s on the stock 17x9s its sits nice and flush with the rim.
i have those same tire size on stock 03 cobra wheels on front, those combined with suspension set up grab every fricken crack in the road. Always have to have hands on wheel and ready, cause it will just go left or right when it grabs.
275's up front here on 17x9's, no problem. Run a 315 out back on a 10.5 so there is alot of rubber on the road.

remember, 275/40 is standard on terminators so why would it be a problem for any other mustang?
Good to hear ( just ordered some 275/40's). I've heard some guys had rubbing issues. I would have to assume its due to their cars being extremely low.
