Hey guys. I'm looking for a tire set up on my 2014 track pack.. I want the ability to rotate so it will be a square set up.. and I'm using the car for windy mountain roads and road courses and possibly autocross or track this summer. So mostly handing not so much drag racing application..

I have SVE drifts so 19x9.5 wide. And I'll be lowering by 1.5" all around. My question is what sidewall should I got for? I'm lookin at going with the MPSS so either 275/40/19 or 275/35/19? Noise won't matter to me either. Any input or advice? Anyone running a 275 square set up that can weigh in?

With a 9.5 wide wheel you can go for 285/35/19 all around. Same Diameter a 255/40/19. It is the stock rear tire size on the BOSS302 which has 19x9.5 wheels.

Won't that be too wide in the front? or negatively impact handling with tires that wide in the front?

I have sve drifts 19" on my 14' gt and i am running 275/45/19 on all 4 corners. Im lowered on steeda sports with koni yellows and no issues at all. I think i will run a 285/40 when this set is done. Tires are Hankook Evos btw.

275/35 is the common size for the square set up on the 19x9.5's.

I dad drifts with 255/40 and 285/35's and liked the look with a little bulge in the rear. Personally, I don't think that would look good nor see the reason to run such a large tire up front.

I'm running 275/40 on Avant Garde M510's (19 x 9.5) all around and love the set up. Thinking about going to the 285/35 on my next set as I need a little more tire in the rear and clearance up front won't be an issue at all. It would be surprising if you were unhappy with either a 275/40 or a 285/35.

^ can you post a couple of pics ? I bought my car 2 weeks ago, used, and it came with some tires I've never seeing before, Federal Formoza FD2's, at least in stock 255/40/19 size (I have the brembo pack). I thought of changing them for something different, and while i'm there, why not upgrade the size too :), what Nittos are you running ?
