I have wanted to go up to 275s on the front of my car from my current 255s (Nitto Invos). Discount tire is have a sale on Ebay if you spend more than $400 you get $100 off.

Anyway, like I said I have 255/35/20 on my front now. I am going to need some tires in the next couple of months so I figured I would buy them now while they are on sale. Is there issue if I go with the 275/40/20 instead of 275/35/20? With the sale I could get the 40s for fifty bucks cheaper.

Thanks

The 275/40 will rub on lowered car. Even if only mildly lower than stock.
Another vote for the 275/35

Here's 275/35-20's with ugly 295/30-20's on back...my MPSS 295/35-20's match perfectly with the fronts now, but I haven't updated my pic's yet.

DO NOT DO the 255/35/20. I have them on the front of my car and before I knew I messed up my front rims. The tire rolled over and my rims hit the road with some spirited driving. I bought the car with the rims and tires so I learned the hard way
