The car is currently a 96 cobra with 03 cobra clutch/pressure plate and steel flywheel with a t45. Ive been sitting on the t56 i bought a while ago waiting to install and trying to decide on a clutch. The original plan was the rxt twin disk but funds arent going to allow that for a while. Im considering replacing the stock clutch disk with a 26 spline unit from centerforce from lethal. The clutch has maybe 5000 miles on it right now and is only street miles, haven't made it back to the track yet so i would imagine its in pretty good shape. Has anyone ever gone this route and replaced just the friction disk with another manf. The car currently is pushing a little less than 500 to the wheels on nitrous and will see mostly street time but i hope to make it to the track and will be on either my 555r's or a friends m/t et streets so will a combo like this hold?
26spline input shaft, replace only friction disk?
