Swapping to an auto this winter so getting ready to order some radials for my 17"x 4.5" front wheels. Will be used mainly for the track with just a little bit of street use. Is there any advantage to the 28 vs the 26 at the track in terms of weight transfer etc, I like the look of the 26 with the rake it gives the car. Ran 27" bias ply front runners before so didn't have these choices lol...

I've ran both and the only difference is the 26 inch fronts weigh less. I personally like the look of the 28's matched with a rear 28.

I like the look of the side wall of a 26" on a 17"'rim better. If your lowered and have to drive up a trailer I could see it being a pain. If it's mostly track, why not run the 27" bias ply

Car is lowered on BMR drag springs and a trailer is in the future for the car. Think I'll go the 28" route up front and save myself any future headaches... Thanks

Are you planning on running a 26" or 28" in the rear.

Leaning towards a MT ET Street Pro 275/60/15 which is 28.2 according to MT's website. Hopefully that is enough tire for 700 whp track tune with a 4200 stall...

I just switched from a M&H 26 to MT 28. I haven't mounted the wheels with 28 yet. My main reason for switching is more ground clearance and better night time visibility. I couldn't see shit at night with the rake of the car on 26 inch fronts without the brights on. My car hasn't been lowered.

26 up front 28 out back. Love the rake.

If I was lowered i would definitely do 28s.
