255/40 and 305/45/18's, will they fit on an 03/04 Cobra?

I was looking at a set of FR500 with the above tires mounted. Will they fit on the Cobra? I know this is a seemingly simple question, its just one I dont know the answer too.

They are currently on a 2007 Mustang, backspacing of 5 x 4.50 or 5 x 114.3.

I run 335 18's, if that helps. But I am also running 1in. spacers and the irs low profile bolts as well.

The backspacing for the 05 - 08 Mustangs is completely diferent than that for the 99 - 04 cars. I think you would have problems with this setup.

Also, a 305-45-18" tire is going to be very tall (28.8") and will thus probably require either suspension or body modifications...

The 45 series, ain't go to fit, not only will you need spacers,
you need to be at stock height even too have a chance at
fitting 29 inch tires.

No problemo on either a 10" or a 10.5" rim...:beer:

305/35/18 should fit, but if not a small spacer will be needed,
I'm running 295/35/18's with a 1/4 spacer and can fit a figure
between the irs bolt. Plus I think the 18's move it away from the bolt
for more clearance.

The back spacing numbers you posted are not back spacing they are the lug pattern. back spacing is plus or minus in mm like +20mm.

I didn't even pay attention to the numbers in the 1st post since I already knew the backspacing was different on the Cobras and the 05-08 Mustangs...
