I used to run 26 degrees on a Ported eaton back in 2005 and went 10.89@127, fullweight slick/skinny combo. This was with Torco.........100 Octane mix. I ran 23 degrees on 93 pump.

If your that worried about AFR, pull your plugs after you make a hard pull on the street or track, shutdown area on the side of the road. That will tell you if your running on the ragged edge....

Don't you think I should be that worried? With that much timing plus a afr reading in the mid 12's sounds like detonation to me.

Though I'm begining to wonder why I haven't had any problems yet. You would think if it's just a matter of time my motor would have blown already.

Since I bought the car in April. I've been to the track once(5 passes) and have run several races on the street plus one 160mph pass, and still no problems with the motor. Maybe 01cobravortech is right. Maybe the reading I got on my afr is off. Either way I don't feel comfortable with this setup.

You guys have been awesome on this website. Thanks for all the input.
