The body and paint on the car is in very good condition, the reason I am selling is just before I joined the service I blew a head gasket and planned on doing an entire engine build but ran out of time and money. The car has been in storage on stands covered for about a year now and where I am stationed at now I dont have a place to work on it and I dont have any covered storage so I have decided to sell it. Before I left I pulled the motor and had the block and heads both inspected and both checked good, and I have all the parts to put it back together, all it needs is to have a motor built for it. The car has Eibach sportline springs with Eibach struts and shocks w/ caster/camber plates, also it has new tires all the way around. I have a couple pics to post of the car in storage, I dont have any more pics than these currently due to the fact that my hard drive crashed and I lost all my pics. There are some old pics before I lowered it and with different wheels and tires @ http://www.1996mysticcobra.com/ it is #226.
If you have any more questions you can just call me @ (817) 880-5253 I work Eves. so if I dont answer just leave a message and I probably call you back the next day.
Price $5000 firm. I will not ship this vehicle it is to be local pick up only. Vehicle is located just outside of the Dallas/Ft Worth, TX area.

I think your still confusing every one. Which is it? The motor needs to be Built or does it just need the heads put back on?

The block is bare. You need to take the block, heads, and intake along with whatever other parts you would like to have in the motor to a builder you trust, have them put it all together and then put it into the car.

I cant believe you dissamsembled the whole engine for the reason u did. Now you might as well just sell it as a roller. Either way it doesnt matter cause you should still get close to your asking price

Never planned on selling the car, and the reason I disassembled the whole motor was because you dont see many cobras with 115k rolling around with the original motor still in them anyway and when the head gasket blew I was going to take it as an "opportunity" to do some things to the motor that I planned on doing later on down the line anyway, I just ran out of time to finish them. Now Im about 630 miles away from my car with no shop, tools, and I dont know of anybody I trust around here to build the motor I wanted in the first place. The only reason I am selling it is because I want to buy a sports bike. If I dont sell it Im not too worried because I know this car is going to be a valuable collectable one day and I know if I do sell it Im probably going to see it on the Barret Jackson auction block in about 15 years and really be kicking myself in the ass anyway.:bash:

Thanks man, sorry about your bad luck, I know how you feel. The stang I had before this one was totaled by a kid who had his drivers license for less than a day.

I think you're pushing it a little bit with that statement. Maybe you'll see a 1,500 mile car up there but not one with 115,000. Regardless, if this car was closer we would be making a deal. Are you firm on your price>??? -Mat-
