Also, there were quite a few 13/14 FX4s ordered with 6.2ls

I didn’t even know you could get the 6.2 in the FX4! That would be badass…. I mean minus the gas prices lol

People like to think the 6.2L was a raptor specific engine but its not. You could get them in the FX4, lariat limited, harley edition or platinum. Also used as the base engine for super duty.

Also people forget the raptor was originally launched with the 5.4L 3v which was a completely gutless turd. I havent seen one in years, i think they were all burned and erased from history.

To put into perspective on how slow the 5.4L Raptor was....

A 2010 Raptor runs a 16.5s 1/4 mile time.

A 2020 Dodge Caravan runs the 1/4 mile in 16.1 seconds.

Lovely to get smoked by a mom with 3 kids in the back from stoplight to stoplight.

Starting at $56,960 for the base Rangarapta Im curious what a fully optioned one will end up at. I do like these way better than the Braptor but dont care for the bedside graphics at all, wonder how hard it will be to get one.

Bedside graphics were a $1075 option on my F-150 Raptor which I opted out of...I would expect this to be no different.

Yeah for some reason I thought it was Raptor specific and optional in the 250. I do remember the 5.4 in the Raptors but as you said that’s the one that should have been shot on the curtain and forgotten about.

I planned to ordered a 2024 awd Maverick XL when order banks open up. I was entertaining a 2024 base model Ranger but that starting price is more than Id like to spend. We shall see. I basically need a car with a bed to throw gas cans etc behind so the ranger is more truck than I need. I'm curious what the Ranger XL's fuel economy will be.

This with a tune/intercooler and E50 will FLY.

Not on a treadmill it won’t.

Still wish I could convince my wife selling our Traverse and getting a Maverick or Ranger is a sensible option.

Maybe a lowered Maverick Lightning with a high performance 2.7 is coming, I could get into that.

Please review the changes to Specialty Vehicle ordering - starting with 24MY Ranger Raptor

SUMMARY
Effective with the opening of the 24MY Ranger Raptor order bank, specialty vehicles will be restricted to stock-only ordering. Stemming from our Dealer Council request to improve our Specialty Vehicle scheduling and order collection process, this change is being implemented to help support a future enhancement to eCommitment which will accomplish this request. This change is currently only applicable to 24MY Ranger Raptor but will be phased in as additional Model Years of Specialty Vehicles are launched.

As a reminder, once vehicles are scheduled for production, they are able to be tagged for customers and are eligible for in-MY Price Protection at that point. We encourage all dealers to utilize this tagging feature to identify and secure customer commitments for orders.

It’s crazy to think about the first Gen F-150 Raptor well Optioned was 56k and this Ranger Raptor has a starting price of 55k!! I guess you have to factor in that the ranger raptor has about the same HP and more TQ

I know it was 2013/14 with the F-150s...Maybe 2012s too?

But it was basically a Lariat with red piping on the seats, side graphics, black wheels, black grill, and painted bumpers.

2012 had the FX package as well, mine's an FX2 with the luxury package to get the leather seats and all. I dont remember if the appearance package was available then or not, I wouldn't have wanted it either way.

I just didnt want all the chrome shit
