Looking over the MT numbers the CFTP is .2 and 2mph ahead of the base even with the crazy wing. Pretty similar difference with the 350 vs 350R. The CFHP cars may drop another two or three tenths vs the CFTP cars and give 1 or 2 mph higher trap speed.
This month's C&D. You are correct. Motor Trend figures say the opposite but according to the C&D article Ford engineers say expressly that. So the CFHP cars with the lighter wheels should be the fastest straight line configuration.
...until the drag from the wing kicks in which is no doubt past the 1/4 mile line (on a CFTP car anyway - we are assuming the CFHP cars are getting the swing).
