There is no dark side for me. I've owned several Chevy/GM products in the past. I don't hate the Camaro. I just don't like it as much as the Mustang. I have a sentimental connection with the Mustang that goes back to my childhood. I've actually been searching for a ZL1 1LE. There are TONS of them available in the area brand new. But then I look at that interior, and I just can't do it. That hideous steering wheel just ruins it for me. LOL And considering that's the thing you see the most... That and the seats. Why couldn't Chevy offer the Corvette's Competition seats in the ZL1 1LE?? Ha! I guess you've never looked at the vehicles in my sig. I just don't want a 4000++ lbs "extreme performance" car. Why do you think I spent countless time and money taking weight out of my '11 GT500? And that one was "only" 3800 lbs to start. If I'm going to have something over 4000 lbs, it might as well at least be nice, too. And that's the first I've heard that the M5 isn't a performance-minded vehicle. On another note, I just found out yesterday that Audi is going to bring the RS6 back to the States next year!!!!!! So add that to the rather-have alternative list, too. (Unfortunately, it's still a station wagon.) I hate to sound like "those guys," but for people who want good performance and speed, but don't want to pony up the big bucks up front, it really would make sense to by a GT PP2 and throw some snails on it. The weight of this GT500 is a HUGE letdown for me. Maybe I'll change my mind in the coming months, but I seriously doubt it. Like I said in another thread, I think my Mustang buying days are over until Ford does a reset and gets its size and weight in check.
