What is nuts to me is that Wisconsin has had a very conservative, tax reforming governor from 2010 until the last election in November as well as the support of Republican controlled state legislature and we are still at 16.

I think the methodology might be a bit different but for reference, here is where things were at in 2010 so I guess Wisconsin went in the right direction from #5.

The Choo Choo is pretty cool. The Ballpark looks nice also. Yes, Nashville is awesome. Amazing how much it has grown in size and reputation.

Wow, I'm surprised that MA was so low at 19%. LOL Feels more than that sometimes.

Rhode Island,.......man that place for the most part is a SHIT HOLE. There are some great spots, but, I'd pass on that. Many of friends/coworkers live in Rhode Island.
I wonder what they are paying for with those taxes so high and the roads are so crappy, with no work and just a dirty city in general. (Just kidding, I know why the taxes are so high and it should infuriate any American.)

Lick my balls... The terminator loves the roads here

Tennessee for the win almost. Though the only nice city is Nashville and that is changing quite quickly.

Nashville is a cesspool now. Knoxville/Oak Ridge area is def the best place to be in Tennessee.

25th but our highest in the nation auto insurance rates should be taken into account. New dim Gov wants a $.45 increase to gas tax.

The only experience I have of Knoxville is downtown and around UT... cant say I am impressed at all and that was 10 years ago I doubt it has gotten better.

I get the numbers, but when I moved from CT to SC, I noticed much more than a 4pt difference in tax burden.

Could be even less if the school systems charged directly instead of being so damn subsidized. Want to pop out 8 kids on a $20k/yr income and flood the school system? Pay for it. Can't pay for it? Maybe the IRS should investigate you being a leech on society.

The whole system should be pay to play. Basically, it'd be a tax increase per kid in school. Help fund that school and teachers' pay too, and be a deterrent from overpopulating.
