I drove one this week, nice car. I'm going to replace our e90 m3 with one. Will miss the sound of the high rev v-8, but will love the increased torque of the turbo 6.

im really happy BMW stuck with the turbo inline 6, its the best motor they make. While it may not impress some stock who keeps their car stock look what a tune did, add some e85, downpipes and intercooler id bet 550hp/600tq to the wheels you'll see. I know for $1200 i have my 2008 335i at 420/480 give or take and its a blast to drive with all that tq at 2500RPMS thats about 120hp/180tq over stock with a few boltons. while this car may be 70k theres so much more than straight line performance this car has. I got the pleasure to drive a 2013 DCT m3 at laguna seca and i cannot describe how fast 414hp and only 295 tq felt around that track. BMW really has it dialed down to offer the whole package, its an exciting time we are living in for auto enthusiasts!!!

420/480 you're definitely talking flywheel, correct? FBO + meth 335's put down +/- that to the wheels. Regardless, 350+/- rwhp 335's are a blast and surprise the hell out of many people.. It's awesome having someone like Terry offer an inexpensive way to big power on these turbo engines.. Even with the ///M tax, hp/$ is not bad..

My e92 DCT M3 is under the knife right now and to compare, rod bearings and bolts were $850. Ridiculous ///M tax. The cost to make 600+ rwhp has not been cheap to say the least.. smh..

I had an E46 M3 and one of my buddy's invited me to the dealership to check out the M4 and M3

M4 was cool, but these like the E46 didn't sound good to me (and I've honestly got a problem with fake engine sound coming through the stereo :) )

The one I would get and that I fell in love with was the M3 though. I just like the overall shape better and from the back the fender flares are huge and almost look like a widebody kit. I love the look of this car and BMW fixed the dull no contrast interior of the E92's. I really want to see how these perform and get some official mag times. If they really do perform right with a C7 it may be my next car :) (going to be tough to walk away from AMG sound though.)

$80k (it has the full leather interior etc., crazy how much you can option out german cars for)

If Nissan brings the full GTR drivetrain to the Q50 I will be forced to buy that car though :D Great times for car enthusiasts.

Damn, and here I am barely cracking 400whp full bolt-on with a protune... wish I had enough $$ to throw around for one of these.

You feeling ok posting that?

Lol...Just because I don't like either of these cars doesn't mean I will deny svtp a good comparison of both of these cars since I know most ppl like them both. You act like I have never posted or even made a thread about a C7 or M3 lol

I think it will have its place....if Tesla can see its brand for 100k in the world of M5's, E63's CTS-V's I think this Q50 can make it....might not be on every corner like a dime a dozen vette but it will sell
