2013 Shelby GT500 vs 2001 Dodge Viper GTS

Just a quick little run. Me and my brother left cars and coffee and rolled up on this Viper.
My brothers gt500 is all stock except for the 65mm tb and resonator delete.
Viper GTS had full bolt-ons, tune, rockers, and gears. He said he was making 540hp.

Those mods on the viper might be good for 470whp, probably less when you consider his gear change. Good run!

for sure. it takes a good flowing set of cylinder heads like mine has to make that #. in fact mine made 540 rwhp on the motor alone but the nitrous tune only put down 515 rwhp and 640 rwhp with a 150 shot of Nitrous. all of this was done with a geared down rear.

edit: just watched the race and a 7 second roll on race through 2 gears from a 50 roll is just lame....
