That's over 350lbs
less than the ZL1, which widens the performance gap even more than the 70 additional horses.....if it can put it to the ground. Unfortunately doesn't sound like the car got some much needed wider meats on the back, and they stuck with the Crapyears instead of going for some stickier Michelins. Sure they can be switched, but it would be nice if they just sprang for some proper rubber out of the box.Nice car otherwise.
Launch control will help a ton; the boss runs 4.0 to sixty with 445hp, I bet the gt500 can get a solid 3.6-3.7 or less with launch control; that's $350,000 Lexus LFA territory.
Now that said, I'd love to see factory 275/325 35/19's on this car. (f/r) Then again, I'll go in debt to the hilt if the 2014/5 gt500 is IRS and tt'd with all the goodness otherwise from this generation. How awesome would a 700hp 5.8L tt gt500 svtp with a strong purpose built IRS and 3850#'s be? Day dreaming ftw

The gt and v6 also get improvements.
Gt now makes 420hp and has a manumatic 6 spd auto as an option (think Manuel valve body)
As well as aggressive styling
