Is there a difference in the 6 piston setup on the new 2015 GT vs the 2013 Shelby? Also I'm looking to upgrade to the 2013 shelby 6 piston setup, but was wondering what stainless lines I would need to order to go with them. I've great things on the stainless braided brake lines, but can't find any online that fit the 6 piston setup. Also, how much brake fluid is needed to do a install such as this? I heard motul is the best fluid I can get for my setup, but i'm open to suggestions.

Regardless of the difference in brake calipers I believe the 2015 doesn't fit into the 2011-2014 mustangs. I could be wrong, but I thought I read this in another thread.

I put on '13 6P Shelby brakes and reused stock lines so any stainless for 11/14 should work

My bad. Didn't read correctly and thought it said 13GT500 vs 13 GT Brembo.

I know the factory lines are different between the 4p and 6p. I had to use the Shelby lines as my boss lines were different. But Kevin may be right in that aftermarket stainless lines will fit either.

The hub is different between the S197 and S550 cars, i believe it was covered somewhere on this forum a while back in regards to the OEM 4 pistons on the S550 GT being a drop in upgrade for the S197; they are not.

What would you guys say as far as install cost for 6 piston brembo kit for the 13 GT? It includes front and rear rotors and calibers. Want to know what I should be looking to get charged from a shop. I called a few places, but the prices are all over the board.

I did mine myself on jack stands. It's really not too bad. Late model has a full install vid on youtube.

Yeah i've been thinking about doing it myself, but I've never done a break job before and would feel comfortable doing the front's, but the rear having to pull that diff apart has me a bit nervous.
