[QUOTE="Van@RevanRacing, post: 11931615, member: 69847"] I have driven GT500's with normal mod suspension and complete Griggs Chassis set ups. I have also driven the Boss 302 LS at Daytona. You are essentially talking about supercharging a Boss which will create additional heat in the engine just like a GT500 with a PD blower. This weekend I will be running my 2013 in Time Trial at Sebring to "get the feel" I will tell you that my honest opinion is that both cars are excellent with great ergonomics. The Boss feels awesome and so does the 2013 GT500. If your intent is to Road Race constantly and you're running Time Trials or another level of advanced road course driving the Boss will class a little lower and allow you to be more competitive with similar classed vehicles. The 2012 GT500 classes out with NASA Time Trial as "SUR" which means it hasn't been classed as of yet so it falls into TTS, TTU or TTR. 2013 GT500 will easily class out to TTU or TTR. So I'm running TTR this weekend. Not trying to win anything just getting a feel for the car. If you're only going to run intermediate or advanced road course HPDE events a few times a year I would probably go with the GT500 because you'll get great enjoyment out of the car on the road course on those track weekends and then daily driving on the street with just a couple of easy mods to the 2013 you've got an awesome street machine and a great weekend track car.
