2013 gt500 diff cover on a 2008 gt500

I did some searching, but didn't come up with any posts, that had an answer.
2013 Mustang Shelby GT500 Differential Cover - Buy Ford Racing

For the money, it seems like a nice upgrade. Is there any reason this won't work on a earlier Shelby? Not sure if it will clear panhard bar or not. From what I read, it has the axle vent built in, shouldn't be a big deal and could be easily blocked off.

i am considering the same thing. the ford axle cover M-4033-KA/ M-4033-K I bought did not have the plug for the temp sensor or the 10/ 1 1/4" bolts for the cover.
I have been looking for a Ford P/n for 2 hours, guess i am going to the hardware store next to fing a plug/ bolt to close it off. I dont suppose anyone has the M10 X 1.6-6h threads plug laying around?

Works perfectly. I recently put one on my '08 Bullitt. Clears panhard by plenty.

The sites states "Vent & Bolts NOT included". What did you use?

Here is the cover shown with the correct Ford bolts...........

The length of the factory bolt (measured under the captured washer).........

A factory Ford axle tube vent that fits the threads in the cover...........
