So on the way to lunch I finally got a run I have been itching for. There is a kid here in town that works at the local orielys. He has a black stage 3 roush and thinks it's the shit. Every time I go in there he acts all superior. I usually brush it off but it is a tad annoying after a while. So back to the story. I pass the parts shop see him pulling out. As soon as I pass I see him haul ass to catch up. We both hit the red light and I smile. Switch off advance track. Light goes green he trees me but starts spinning. So I pedal through tear second a new butt hole and jump out on him a car. Hold second up to about 80 and lift due to traffic coming up. All in all if like to meet up again and get a better run in to where may have some traction. Either way a kill is a kill.

What gearing are you running? My second redlines at like 63-5 at 80 I'm probably close to the top of 3rd.

Ok below a 10 he's not even in the same country. If it was a 10, different story. That came with a forged 4.6 with the 2300TVS.. I have seen them with proper mods in the upper 600rw and mid 600Tq... could give you a good run.....
I agree. The Stage 3's on the 05-09 were underpowered and detuned like crazy.
I can see a stock 5.0 edging one out without much issue.
Now, a properly blown/tuned 3V will beat the living shit out of a Stock 5.0 and edge out a bolt-on 5.0
Also, be very careful of the 2014 Roush cars with the aluminator engine. That's a fully forged 5.0 with the TVS... They can easily have as much or more HP as a 13/14 Shelby and due to being 400lbs or so lighter they can take ya!
I had a blown 3v with a saleen blower. Made 479/442. So i know what not to mess with. The crap tastic M90 isn't really going to be able to hang with much until it is pullied and he gets exhaust work. Even then it will meet its limit at about 450 wheel.
