2012 Weatherly hillclimb

Our last hillclimb event was held last weekend in Weatherly, PA. A challenging 1 mile course that requires some serious balls in certain turns. We broke the Street Mod record and ran 3rd overall in the Mach.

Are you running an aftermarket hood of some sort? The cowl looks large for a standard Mach 1 hood. Or is it just the angle?

It's actually an R hood. Was going for weight reduction and the shaker, way up above the motor, was the latest target.

Count to turn 3. Nerves of steel(and a WHOLE LOTTA LUCK) tell you to get off the brake and on the gas when you're braking and you're in trouble. You either go in, or act and hope you come out.

No. Do not have the boat vents in. Still unsure what I am doing regarding additional cooling. We dammed up around the radiator better and moved the air filter out of the engine bay. My coolant temps at Weatherly were only 198 at the finish with start line temps being 174.
