Ok so I been reading online that the weight for the new 5.0 is 4600 + pounds per the specifications given online and what the sticker on the car shows , so I new that my car did not weight that much, so I went to a truck weight station and paid 10 bucks to have the weight of my car, I went on the scale the lady told me, u can come off now , then I went into the office and got a receive with the weight of my car being 3600 pound, my car is manual and everything is on the car including the spare tire and the jack . So there u have it , at least on manual transmissions.

Where did you read the Mustang weighed 4600 lbs? Thats how much my 04 Lightning weighed new.
On the scales last Friday in race trim my 2012 GT base Auto with race wheels and tires weighed 3530.
In the specs Ford lists the weights as
.............Coupe................Convertible
Manual:....3603.................3723
Auto:.......3650.................3780

Stock, 50 miles to E I weighed 3573lbs in a Premium Brembo manual. My current race weight is 3402-3419lbs without me. My projected weight after Phase 3 is 3274lbs. I will gain 90-120lbs for forced induction.

4600lbs is the Gross Vehicle Weight which is 4 average passengers and full cargo. This number is more important for safety measures required to stop the vehicle. Braking, suspension, wheels and tires are all selected based on GVWR.

Mine is 3940 with me in it. Fully equipped with, a Vortech, 20's, and 1/3 tank of gas.

mine without me in it weighed 3517,my buddy gtformulas without him in it 2013 auto 3450,with light rims and tires! 1/4 tank or so in each car.

My Base M6 GT 300A package weighed in at 3510lbs with half a tank of gas(without me in it). It did have my helmet, phone, cameras, etc in it that made up at least 15-20lb.

That is weird. My blower kit and roll bar weighed the same as your passenger and back seats. I rolled the same scale at 3520 approx 1/2 tank. No wonder it folded like a pop can.
