Why not, they share similar stats besides price. What are we to compare a 550hp Cobra to.....a 335I.

Because for the extra $44K you get things other than horsepower to help make the car faster. Things like carbon fiber, and better electronics to help you drive the car. JMO

The GT500 is a very impressive vehicle but the Z06 and GTR-35 just have more...
These prices are kinda bogus, we have 5 2011 Z06's for $73k without all those BS packages.
GT500's are not $55k either most ive seen are $65k+ must be market adjustment pricing !!!

The GTR weighs nearly 2 tons and does not come with carbon fiber weight saving materials like the already light corvette. I understand your point, but we can't be picky when dealing with cars 40hp of one another.

The 2012 GTR is an amazing car, hands down.

Bang for your buck the GT500 is still a contender but the weight of those cars make them subpar when just comparing straightline accelleration with similar vehicles stock for stock.

I can't believe the price of a loaded Z though.. heysoos.

A GT500 is an impressive car no matter what anyone says.
