2012/2013 Laguna Seca ? Guage Pod ?

The 2013 LS does not include the gauge pod, does the instrument cluster have an oil pressure and water temp gauge that reads out in real numbers not just a L/H and C/H scale

What did they add to the space between the two main instrument clusters.

Everything on the pod in the 2012, is on the little lcd screen on the 2013 iirc.

nikk0 is correct. There is a display in the gauge cluster that has all this info.

for 2013s

oil pressure = not a real number. reads as "normal".
oil temp = not a real number. has a guage cold - hot.
water temp = not even listed.
cyl head temp = real number.
air:fuel = real number.

If you were going to road race your car and wanted to monitor those gauges while on track, the pod would be better than the new digital screen as you have to scroll through them to get the actual gauge.
