Like the title says I have a 2011 tahoe ssv that I'm finishing up a ly6(6.0) swap on. The next project I want to tackle is wheels/suspension. It currently has a leveling kit and roughly 31 inch tall tires. I am torn between lowering the truck with a 3/5 drop and doing a 20inch wheel more themed towards a street look. On the other hand I wouldn't mind going after a lifted setup with a more offroad style wheel and tire. I was averaging around 18 highway with the stock 5.3 so I'm aware it will only get worse with the 6.0 and especially if I go with a a/t tire and a lift. Any pros/cons and discussion is welcome. The two attached pictures are of my tahoe(white one, the spot light and bar are both removed now) and my fathers 2010 that has a 3 inch lift.

Personally, I would drop it on some black 22" Texas replicas. Its been awhile since I had a lowered Chevy, but I think you can run a 31" tire with a 3/5 and possibly a 4/6. Research it though, don't take my word.

Might as well go 4/6 if you decide to drop it. If not, you'll eventually wish you did.

Drop it, 22" SS replicas in black, install turbo on the 6.0 and have some fun.
