To all the poor saps who paid 30k for a 2010 Mustang Gt, I feel bad for you. 2011 Mustang V6-0-60=5.1, quarter mile=13.7 @102 mph. All for around 23k.

OK, Braniac. the 2010 base GT, and 2011 v6 have similar interiors. The v6 has a 6 speed trans., the 2010 gt a 5 speed.
There better be some HUGE discounts on the 2010 gt, or they won't sell.

mustangs are historically v8 pony cars.

Its great that they make a v6 that can do that but me personally its all about the v8.
My first mustang was a v6 and i loved it and thought it was cool as hell. but if i could have afforded a v8 i would have had one.

I wouldn't say 6th gear is worthless. The 2011 v6 is rated around 30-31mpg highway. That's pretty efficient for a 300 hp car.

I understand the passion for a v8. That would explain my 03 cobra that I had. I just think it's impressive that a v6 can be powerful and efficient, and run on 87 octane.
