That's the schedule for the upcoming Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association series. For those of you who don't know what we do, we race on public roads under the SCCA TTR. All GCR and SOLO cars elegible as well as special classes. For a general list of classes: http://www.pahillclimb.org/Results/2009/Duryea.pdf just look at page 1.
Minimum requirements are Full fire suit(head to toe), 5pt harness(no older than 5yrs), fire extinguisher, 4pt roll bar. If you plan to participate, you should have an SCCA license and apply for a TT novice permit.

In-car for training:
2009 Duryea [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BCZHP4oPUQ"]YouTube - 2009 Duryea[/nomedia] (I didn't video in '10 as I forgot the F'n camera!)

2010 Pagoda [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ct6UGDoUk4"]YouTube - Pagoda10a.mpg[/nomedia] this year the Pagoda start and finish line are moved there-by lengthening the course.

2010 Polish Mtn [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUXAgWaKXjU"]YouTube - PolishMtn2010.mpg[/nomedia]

2010 Giants Despair [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9xcSzDxFXg"]YouTube - 2010Giants.mpg[/nomedia]

2010 Jefferson Circuit [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4W0MNYHt8s"]YouTube - JeffersonSunday.mpg[/nomedia]

2009 Weatherly [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OG0JM0Gi-4"]YouTube - Weatherly 2009[/nomedia]

This is the most awesome thing you can do legally on the street. Not to mention, it just isn't possible to drive like this when the road ISN'T closed. If you are interested, let me know and we'll see where you'll be classed and help you get started.

I always try to make it to at least a few of these a year, they are a lot of fun..... And I'm just a spectator!

Hill climbs are great fun. We have a series in the SouthEast as well.
I started with Chimney Rock back in the '90s and still try to get in at least one at Crow Mountain in the fall. There is talk of adding a couple of more next year.
Wolfridge in June
Eagles Nest in August
Crow Mountain in October
