**I know it's not a '13/'14 but figured maybe some of this could provide info/insight for those doing similar stuff lol**

Hey guys,

Been a long while since I've posted since I've been sticking to the FB pages and forums lately lol (I may know a few of you guys off there, my name is Chris Whipple) but I wanted to get this thread finally started now that the car is going under the knife for this build over the next couple months. Hopefully for any contemplating or wanting to do something similar this thread may be able to offer some feedback and answer some Q's, as I've used previous builds and threads to get me here lol. Ya the turbo build will be awesome, my 3.6 kenne bell setup is just about finished. So I'm sure me and him will do some runs.

Mmmm yeah, 3.6 is a great choice!!! That will make it even more insane!!

Ya I have always personally been a big KB fan. My brother's terminator has a 3.4 whipple crusher on it. So both of us have big blower cars.

Sweet mod list, most of same things I'm planning eventually.
Please keep thread updated.
Are those the non-DOT 17" Hoosier slicks? 26 or 28" front runners?

Thanks!! It's slowly but surely coming along haha

Rear tires are 15" wheel, hoosier QTP 28x13.5s, fronts are 17x4.7 wheels with 28" Mickey Thompson sportsman s/r radials.

Sweet mod list, most of same things I'm planning eventually.

**Update as of today**

Just waiting on Bryant to get the crank finished up and to the builder...here's some shots of the engine out and some internal stuff, including the Manley Pro Series forged I-beams, the EGR delete mod in progress and the gorgeous MPR billet timing guides...

So figured I'd take moment to get on here and post some updates...shortblock is assembled, just awaiting the last of Slawko's magic on the heads/intake/KB IC and then that'll be another step closer...decided
On a built
Liberty gears T56 Magnum XL also,
with an MGW shifter...here's some update pics....

Note the snout area esp
in reference to the next pic which is the OE CJ unit...

Now, you can see the inherent weak area with the undercut radius there. Thanks to Sam Misrasi for this shot.

Looks like your making some good progress.

Thank you, Sir!! Slowly but surely lol it's getting there. I'd just read up on your 3.6 update thread - glad you're getting her worked out, I know it can be damn stressful to deal with issues. 2016 looks to be a good year for a bunch of us!! haha

Make sure to check the install height of the springs after the heads come back from the machine shop. It can change and affect spring pressure and coil bind if you sink the valve seat or use a different length valve. Just want to make sure our spring package works right for you. I don't know if this was discussed when you ordered them but most machine shops are going to check.

Im really hoping so, I want to do ARH headers and E85 and call it good for awhile. Your car will be a beast when it's done.
