Posi-ported Eaton, 2.4 pulley, C&R H/E and Blankenship tune.

I ran an 11.91 at 123.3 last night on street tires, Continental Extreme DW. 2.01 60ft time. 7.87 at 97.6 in the 1/8th.

I was running Torco, and +2 timing over my street tune. On the "street" tune, it ran 12.06 at 121.4.

The car made 562 rwhp on Lee's Mustang Dyno.

This was at Edgewater near Cinci. I am not sure was corrected altitude was but air wasn't that great.

Found weather data. Density altitude was about 1824ft at time of my run. Sea-level correction would put it at 126mph, so the calculators say.

Car definitely has way more left in it.

You need to catch up with mutangcrazybj and I'm sure he'd give some very sound advice for getting that beast down the 1320.

I have been drag racing Mustangs for 20 years. I know exactly what is holding me back (traction.) I don't think I could do much better on street tires.

Agree.

And NVRL8TE, don't see many 10 second runs out of 123.3 1/4 mile MPH's. As Kevin said, better DA would certainly improve that, but here's the list of 10 second GT500's with the factory Eaton.

You've lost me. What's the point of this thread even? Was you just sharing the experience and that's it, or seeking any form of critiquing or advice?

I know I'm going to get flamed for sounding like a jerk (and I'm seriously not trying to be one), but what's the point of the thread? I'm not trying to be an ass, but if you got that much experience under your belt what else was you expecting by posting this?

Regardless if this makes you mad or not, I look forward to hearing your results if/when you go back on a drag radial/slick.

It's the timeslip bar, where you come in and discuss your day (at the track) as if you would when you went out to the "bar" after work to talk about a good or crappy day.

Nothing more than to show off what you did with what you have, but yes some people come in here asking drag racing questions and tips, not all.

Exactly. I am not asking for advice. This may make ME sound like a jerk, but I don't NEED any advice on this subject at this time. I am just telling you what I did, and what I employed to accomplish that.

Understood. I'm just being a little too "close minded" lately. :nonono:

Good luck on your next outing.
