I'm thinking about buying a set of GT500 18x10 wheels (2010 model) for my track tires. However, according to the American Muscle website, they say their only for the REAR. This doesn't make sense to me since the Roush 18x10 wheels have the same exact offset (+45mm) and are used on the front and rear, which clear BBKs (Wilwood, Brembo, etc.). Can only one confirm this?

Not sure, but as for the GT500 wheels you might have luck on eBay. I've seen alot of OEM GT500 wheels on there. You might save some $$$.

American Muscle simply does that for their own liability and to keep calls from coming.

With the 18x10 wheel if you go too wide with the tire you "could" get some scrubbing. American Muscle doesn't want to hear complaints about that.

A 10" wheel will fit as long as it's 40-45mm offset in the front. You can go to a 295 tire but you'll probably scrub a bit at full lock. 275 section width is what Roush runs.

I'm using the new 2010 GT500 wheels for my street tires since they look sweet!! The 2009 GT500 wheels are wearing the Hoosier slicks for the road course. It's all good!
