2010 Grille conversion to 2013 issues

Hey everybody, I recently tried to install a '13 Lower Shelby Grille on my 2010 Shelby and I have run into a problem. Ford kept the brake cooling duct mounts on the back of the fascia but of course never cut the holes through the front of it. These ducts are pushing back on the '13 grille and will not let it snap in place. Should I try to cut out these ducts from the fascia and mount the grille or put the stock grille back in? Anybody else run into this issue with a 2010 GT500? I was doing this for a new HE I put on. Thanks!

I had to cut a little out of the fascia on my 10' I think it is normal and it was not hard to do.
