2010 door speaker covers on a 2007-09

Anyone thinking/doing/done this?
Worst part of the interior off any S197 Mustang from 2005-2009 IMO.:xpl:
I need them gone and the 2010s look normal and dont draw any unneeded attenion.

honestly, all my visitors ever say is, nice gauges/ shifter,etc. no negative
remarks about the covers. I really don't even notice them....but thats just me

so no thinking for me...lol

i am having a hard time seeing it, need a side by side comparison for it to make sense.

I coverd the grills with black speaker cloth and painted the round bezels metallic silver to match the GT500 ac vents and SHR switch plates. End result looks MUCH better than the plastic sock looks. Was cheap to do as well.

The 10s are subtle with a brushed chrome ring that matches the dash highlights.
I wish someone with a 2010 would post up some shots of the the covers. Hint Hint

I was looking at this also a while back.......i think the grills look like crap on the 07-09 also. I will call my buddy at the dealer to see if he has the 2010 in stock so i can test fit them.

The covers are still kind of big but they work better with the updated interior. Id like to get that steering wheel in mine along with the new climate control.

They are a little bigger (depth) than I thought but they still kill the 05-09s.
