I'm running the fore dual F90000267's pumps with the Mechman 170 and i constantly see 13.25 or higher under WOT (log from last night was 13.5). Normal drive 14-14.5.

I'm thinking the 180amp will be plenty but wanted some feedback to confirm. I just can't see needing more than that when the only additional electrical components I have is the dual pump setup. Thanks!

I run a Mechman 170a with 3 wire upgrade and Dual GT pumps, dual FPDM's, 1000w amp with a 10" sub.

With all accessories running, I never dip below 14v.

It's not so much the amperage you need to be concerned with. It's the fact that alternators are very finicky on these cars, and cheap-o alternators do not last. This is without question a "get what you pay for situation". The only ones that don't seem to have problems are the higher end ones, such as J2, Nations or Mechman. I would run the J2 200a with wire upgrade hands down just for the peace of mind. I would put money on that 180a taking a dump in short order. Also look into a larger pulley since you have a lower pulley.

I'm personally running the J2 setup with wire upgrade, and it has done me good so far.
